In recent years, with the continuous upgrading of 3C product design and material technology, the automatic measurement of 3C product processing and manufacturing processes has increasingly adopted visual spectral confocal displacement sensor. Visual spectral confocal displacement sensor has played a unique advantage in many measurement applications such as rear shell, middle frame section difference, camera section difference, 2D/3D screen type, etc. Visual Spectral Confocal Displacement Sensor is a new type of sensor defined in China's automatic measurement market, which can solve many high-precision measurement applications. The LED light source emits a beam of broad-spectrum polychromatic light (white), which undergoes spectral dispersion through a dispersive lens to form monochromatic light of different wavelengths within the measurement range. The focal point for each wavelength corresponds to a distance value. The measurement light is reflected from the surface of the object, and only the monochromatic light that meets the confocal conditions can be sensed by the spectrometer through the small hole. By calculating the wavelength of the sensing focus, the distance value is obtained by conversion.

Large angle feature

The angle characteristic refers to the larger tilt angle of the measurable sample. When laser displacement sensors measure non-planar surfaces, it is impossible to accurately measure inclinations or curved surfaces due to differences in reflected light. The THINKFOCUS sensor adopts spectral confocal measurement technology to ensure that even if the measured object is tilted or the curved surface is too large, the shape can be measured with high precision. The THINKFOCUS confocal displacement sensor can have up to 87 probes on the diffuse reflection surface, and the specular reflection THINKFOCUS confocal displacement sensor can basically have more than 20 probes. Because this parameter is very low, most of the Japanese and domestic visualization spectral confocal displacement sensors are not clearly marked. Poor angular characteristics can cause many abnormal positions to fail to be measured normally. High-end spectral confocal sensors must be used to measure non-planar surfaces, especially 3D glass profiles, dispensing heights and grades on high-gloss metal surfaces.

The measurement point is smaller.

The laser displacement sensor has problems such as shape and contour distortion, abnormal fluctuation of edge position, and decreased detection accuracy. Due to its triangular ranging principle and large light spot, when measuring There will be stage differences and gaps. Using spectral confocal measurement technology, the minimum measurement spot can be as small as 10μm, which can measure clear contours and ensure extremely high measurement accuracy.
